Friday Favorites: Winter survival kit

I have a love-hate relationship with winter.

On the love side, we have sweaters, great holidays (Christmas & New Year's Eve) and the fact that weather often forces us to slow down a little.

On the hate side, we have ice, shoveling snow, dry skin and early sunsets.

Gah.

I do love that I live somewhere with changing seasons. It's a small part of the reason I moved back from Texas almost six years ago (I can't believe it's been that long). The beauty of fall and renewing feeling of spring are worth the winters. I guess.

Anyhow, here are a few of my favorite things that help me cope with the winter blahs.

Fireside Thermal Long Jane Pajamas
These are so comfy and cozy. I can't wait to put them on each night, and I'm a little sad when they have to go in the laundry and I have to wear something else.  Maybe I need another set.  Hmm.

Satin Hands Pampering Set
I loved this product long before I was a consultant. It's good all year-round, but I reach for it much more often during the winter months when my hands start to feel extra dry.

Scentsy
My Scentsy warmers are on pretty often when I'm home. In the spring and summer, I go for cleaner, lighter scents such as Inner Peace, Flutter and Camu Camu.  In the fall, I love Autumn Sunset and Central Park Pralines.  Right now, I'm rocking Christmas Cottage and it is amazing.

 Chocolate Mint Oolong Tea
A friend sent this to me as a Secret Santa gift a few years ago, and it's been my winter favorite ever since.

Adi Designs Women's Lug Sole Microsuede Boots
They're so warm, and they're wayyyyyyyyy cheaper than Uggs (sorry, I refused to spend $100+ on boots).  I have the camel colored ones, and I bought my mom the chocolate brown ones last year.  She loves them as much as I do.
