Weekly Reads, Vol. 55

This has been a crazy week for me. I had a few low moments, but the high moments far overpowered the sadness. From finishing my latest novel project (in 40 days!!!) to meeting my favorite hockey player (you can go see our lovely photo together here), I'm feeling pretty good about life right now.

And, as always, I'm feeling good about the posts I'm sharing today as well.

I posted a wishlist the other day, but Taylor at the Daily Tay gave me some more ideas. There are definitely a few things I want as a blogger. I'd probably freak out if one of my posts went viral (depending on the reasons), but I definitely want a drone for photo taking. And I'm always seeking validation. I think that's natural. Oh, and she also had a great post about holiday moms. So hilarious!

Tis the season for shopping, wrapping gifts, and lots of other stressful things. But it's also a good time of year to give back. Sarah at Venus Trapped in Mars has a list of ways you can give to others during this season.

There are lots of "best of" lists starting to circulate. Helene at Helene in Between has a different approach with her list of the worst songs of the year.  I have to say I agree with most of them.

All of the above-mentioned ladies and blogs are finalists in Karen's 2015 Blog Awards.  Oh, and I'm nominated for a few categories as well. I'm flattered and honored.  See? VALIDATION!
