:: Last night in my fitness class, we played battle ball (kind of a safer version of dodge ball) and human Pac-Man. They were both super fun and made me feel like I was back in high school gym class. It was a nice way to unwind at the end of the day.

:: Last Friday night, I went to a Zumba happy hour. Ninety minutes of dancing and sweating with about 40 other people (mostly women, but a few men were there too). It was the perfect way to spend a Friday night.

:: People have raved about It's a 10 products for a while. I finally gave them a shot, and I'm sold. My curls are softer and more defined. Love it!!

:: My brewery holiday party is Sunday. We're actually calling it Notta Holiday Party because ... well, it's too late for the Christmas season. But it should be a great time anyway. Free beer, Greek food, games, and a beer exchange. Oh, and I'm making cupcakes for the occasion using some of the beer from the brewery. I'm looking forward to spending the evening with my coworkers.

:: Speaking of the brewery, we are currently hosting a Caucus Your Beer event (You can check out the event details and some of the videos here on the facebook page). It's perfect as Iowa is in the midst of caucus season. I should probably write about what it's like to live here during this political storm. It's half-fun and half-annoying, honestly. But I should do a post with more detail. Would that interest any of you?

:: I feel like I might have extended my "brave" theme from last year into this year. I continue to do things outside my comfort zone. I hate to be vague (because I know it's annoying), but I can't say too much at the moment. Just know I'm still taking risks, and most of them are paying off in one way or another.

Ahhh! I love that Iowa shirt! Write about the caucus!! I go to my caucus every election year. I'm such a nerd for that stuff.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely love to hear what it's like to be in Iowa for all of this craziness. It's kind of funny/annoying being in California because we have the biggest population, but our primaries are so late that we will almost definitely not even figure into the decision. It would be nice to be in a state that people actually look at to make or break campaigns.
