Anyhow, here are some of my random thoughts on this fabulous Friday:
I need to find someone to see "Magic Mike" with me.
I don't mind going to movies alone, and I do it often, but this one seems like a friend movie.
Anyone want to road trip up here to go with me?

My novel finally has a title.
"Riffs of Regret"
My best friend, Jamie, helped me with that big time.
I can't wait to get to work on the cover.
For now, though, it's in the proofreading stage.
I'll be blogging about the progress on my GoodReads page.
Like I need another blog to keep up with, but oh well.
Don't worry, I'll post notice of the finished product (and buying info) here too.

So many emotional TV shows this week.
"Grey's Anatomy" and "Private Practice" had me bawling. Almost the entire episode.
So did "Glee." As much as some of the characters annoy me, I'm going to miss those who are leaving.
"Criminal Minds" had me on edge. For two hours. Not good for right before bed.
"How I Met Your Mother" was fantastic.
I love Marshall and Lily. And I know people hate Ted, but I relate to him.
That's probably not a good thing.
That's probably not a good thing.
Yeah, I'm really attached to my shows. So what?

I cannot wait to see Miranda Lambert in August.
I've been a fan of hers since she was on "Nashville Star."
I first saw her live at Austin City Limits Festival in 2003.
I absolutely love her latest album.
This song, in particular, is a favorite.

I was slightly afraid of Cardio Core class last night.
Lots of running stairs and miscellaneous cardio.
Lots of crunches, burpees, squats, ball jumps, etc.
Thirty minutes of sweat.
I loved it. Or at least I loved how I felt when I was done.
It's insane how much I love exercising lately.

Sleep has been rough this week.
My neighbor's rooster wakes me up at 5:30 a.m.
Sigh.
But mostly I've been staying up later than I should.
And the Rangers are going on a West Coast trip soon.
Yikes.

I love living close to water.
Going for walks and runs along the lake is perfect.
It's probably related to me being a water sign.
Someday, I want a house with a lake view.
New life goal.

Yeah, I'm definitely in a better mood today than I have been the past few days.
Good workouts, quality solo time and a few other things have helped a lot.
Kind words from all of you in comments and on Facebook and Twitter helped too.
Thank you. I love my bloggy friends.
I hope you all have a great weekend!!!
Anything with Channing Tatum and his body is good in my books ;)
ReplyDeleteI haven't watched any of this season of HIMYM, but I love Ted! and I love the whole cast.
