It's OK and Thankful Thursday

Today is no ordinary Thursday.

One - It's my Friday.  My weekend begins at 5 p.m. today.

Two - Amber and Neely mixed things a little by joining up with Tracy
and doing a mash-up of "It's OK" and Thankful Thursday.

Well, let's get to it then ...

Its Ok Thursdays

It's OK ...

... that I'm seeing Tim Stop twice this weekend.
And that tomorrow night's show is number 12 since I discovered him in 2009.
I'm not even embarrassed about that.
What can I say? I'm a fan.

\\\///

... to keep buying Kindle books even though I have enough to read.
When they're $2.99, it's way too easy to click "buy."
I need to slow up so I can catch up.

\\\///

... that I'm bummed I have to wait until November for "Reached."
I breezed right through books one and two of this series.
I NEED to know Xander's secret!!!

\\\///

... to be excited about getting a new tattoo.
Actually, I'm getting one of my current pieces covered.
It doesn't look as nice as I want it to, and it needs to be fixed.
So that's what I'm doing on my birthday next month.

\\\///

... to really want an Erin Condren Life Planner.
Maybe it would help me get organized.
Because who wouldn't want to use something this beautiful?

\\\///

... that I'm pretty sure my friends are the best.
I know some really amazing people.
Sometimes I'm surprised they actually like me.
You can be jealous if you want.

What's OK with you?

\\\///\\\///\\\///\\\///\\\///

I'm thankful for ...

... my furbabies.
My cats are both considered rescues,
but they have done plenty to save me.

... friends and family.
In many cases, these terms blur together.
I'll see some of those people this weekend.

...  my blogging community.
Blogging has introduced me to some great people.
They're interesting, sweet and amazingly supportive.

...  Zumba and running.
Not only are they great workouts for my body,
they're also great for my mental and emotional health.

... my love of baseball.
I don't know what I'd do with my summer evenings if I didn't have it.
My boys of summer are the perfect every night date.

What are you thankful for?

  1. I LOOOOOVEEE my EC life planner. I was having a hard time shelling out $50 for it though. This website Plumdistrict.com sometimes has $50 vouchers for $25! I'd check it out but I would most certainly recommend the planner :)

  2. That planner is freaking adorable. I want one too but just can't get myself over the price based on how little I used my lily pulitzer planner this year...

Also I can't decide if I want to read the Matched series! I just finished the first two books in the Divergent series (which were very entertaining) and I'm so bummed I have to wait now for the third book to come out!

  3. I really liked Matched, but could not get through Crossed. I don't know if I just didn't care about the characters enough or couldn't picture the setting well enough or what. But I never finished it. How'd it end?
