WLJ: Lazy Labor Day

I had a really lazy Labor Day weekend.  Really lazy.  Possibly my laziest weekend all year.

I went for a four-mile walk on Friday after work.  And I parked a good distance from the stadium when I went to a game on Saturday.  Other than that, I was on my couch.

I swear, I did not get more than 4K steps between Sunday and Monday combined.  That's a huge drop-off for me.  I aim for 10K steps EACH DAY, and usually end up logging at least 11K.  But I opted for relaxation over the weekend.  And I'm not feeling guilty about it.  I think my body actually needed a little bit of that.  And I plan to head out for a walk after work tonight.

I can't wait for temperatures (especially the humidity) to drop so running is more comfortable.  My Color Run is just over a month away.  I would like to do a few more 5K races this fall, but I haven't really tried to find any.  I am definitely going to fall way short on my goal of five 5Ks this year.  Oh well.  I'll survive.

Weight-loss goal: 40 lbs.
This week's progress: - 0.2 lbs.
Progress to date: -32.2 lbs.
Non-scale victory: After so many people suggested it, I found a yoga class I'm going to try as my September fitness challenge.  It's reasonably priced (in my opinion) and fits into my schedule. I will let you know how I like it as the month goes on.
