It's OK Thursday

Its Ok Thursdays

It's OK ...

... that I'm not done Christmas shopping yet.
This is probably the latest I've ever waited.
But I truly didn't know what to buy.
Thank goodness I only have three people to buy for.
And I only have a few things left to get.

... that I finally finished watching "Veronica Mars" yesterday.
It took me longer than it should have to get through the three seasons.
Pretty cute little show, and Kristen Bell is adorable.
She had some terrible love interests though.
Rory on "Gilmore Girls" did too. What's with that?

... that I watched the Barden Bellas' final performance multiple times last night.
Yeah, I'm talking about "Pitch Perfect."
I got it Tuesday and I've already watched it twice.
I may be obsessed with the movie.
I have a feeling I'll be watching it several times a year.

... that I have a wicked girl crush on Anna Kendrick.
I even saw "What To Expect When You're Expecting" for her.
I just absolutely adore her.
I may need to watch "Up in the Air" this weekend.
And probably "Pitch Perfect" again.

... to celebrate Wine Wednesday by myself.
I got some bad news yesterday.
There was lots of crying.
I needed wine.  Lots of it.
Wine, Twitter and "Pitch Perfect" helped.

... that I didn't watch "The Miss Universe Pageant" last night.
As someone said on Twitter, it's really just "Miss World."
Until they start including life forms from other planets, I'm not watching.
But seriously, I saw on Twitter that Miss USA won.
So congrats to her. Yay USA!

... to have a favorite Chippendales dancer.
He's on the right. Here's a link to his Chippendales bio.
I saw them in Vegas a year ago, and I was instantly drawn to one of them.
His name is James Davis, and he was on "The Ricki Lake Show" today.
And why didn't anyone tell me he was on the most recent season of "The Amazing Race"?
Probably because none of you knew he was my favorite.

What's OK with you?

  1. I was just having a conversation about Rory's boyfriends. She did always end up with cute ones. Jess was always my favorite. And I was super happy that she said no to Logan at the end.

  2. is definitely okay to have a favorite Chippendale!

Anna Kendrick is perfection. I love her in everything she's done (she even made the Twilight movies even semi-acceptable for me!)

  3. Sorry to hear that you got bad news... hope things will get better for you.

I almost always put off my Christmas shopping until the last minute... I think I need the adrenaline rush to be motivated to buy things, plus the sales and markdowns only get better as December 25th gets closer!

I'm hoping to find Pitch Perfect underneath the Christmas tree this year - if not, I know where my gift cards are going!
