5 for Five

FantasticallyAverage

Check out how I did last week:

Work on my novel for five hours.
I wrote for a few hours, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't five.
Ah well. I'm writing. It's all good.

Complete a 5.5-mile run.
I did it!! My longest run ever.
And I finished in just under an hour.  I'm so proud!

Figure out my plans for the 4th.
It looks like I'll be going to a grill out at a friend's house.
I haven't seen her in more than a year, so it'll be fun.

Work on decorating the bedroom.
I completely forgot about this.
Oops.

Spend some time working in Excel.
I played around in it a little.
There are still so many functions I don't know or understand.

Three out of five.
I'll take it.

Here are my new goals for the week ahead:

Work on my novel for five hours.
I really need to buckle down.
I would like to finish this book soon.

Complete a 6-mile run.
Every week, my long run intimidates me a little.
Until I get started ... then I'm fine.

Work on decorating the bedroom.
It's kind of chaos right now.
I need to make it a more peaceful place.

Decide on my July fitness challenge.
I'm contemplating a yoga everyday challenge or push-ups.
Any votes?

Go for a walk on a new trail.
There are tons of walking trails in my city.
I need to go check them out.

Come back next week to see how I did.

  1. I found a squats challenge for July I briefly thought about doing. I'm not sure my hip would be able to handle it though.
