Crazy dreams

You should see some of the things I dream about.

Seriously, my subconscious seems to enjoy making me wake up and say, "huh?"

This really isn't anything new.  There's a reason I don't watch horror movies and shouldn't watch crime dramas before bed.  My imagination will take things and hang onto them to torture me with them later. 

I rarely dream about celebrities. I'm more likely to dream about people I know.  And a lot of the time, it's not even people I'm particularly close to.  They're usually more like acquaintances.

Here are a few examples of dreams I've had recently:

:: I was a contestant on "The Bachelor," and I was on a two-on-one date. You know, the kind where one person gets a rose and the other one goes home.  Well, I was the girl who got sent home.  I was a little sad even though the guy wasn't all that impressive.  My friends were more upset than I was though, I think. 

:: One of my managers came up to me at work and told me I had too many documents to image.  He said I was going to have to start staying to image them myself and they wouldn't be paying me for that time.

:: I was entering an arranged marriage with a guy I knew in high school.  I was so miserable.  I couldn't understand why I had to marry him.  He didn't want it any more than I did.  We kept trying to plot ways to get out of the plan. (P.S. I've had this dream at least once a year for the past decade.)

:: I somehow lost one of my cats.  I looked everywhere, frantic and crying.  No one will help me find her either.  They just tell me to get another cat or to be glad she's gone.  (This is a recurring dream, and it's usually Casey that goes missing.)

Is anyone into analyzing dreams?  What does all of that mean?

Or maybe it means nothing and my brain is just bored.  That's probably it, honestly.  Guess it's time to do some more writing this weekend.  Maybe that'll help.
