I did it.
Finally.
It's been roughly six months since the last time I made it to a BodyPump class. But, at last, I got back there on Sunday. It was the perfect time -- I still got to sleep in a bit, but it didn't take all day -- and there were only about 10 people in the class. It was nice not to be so crowded in there.
Since it's been so long, I figured it was best if I went back to beginner weight. I'm glad I did. That was still a challenge. Sure, it's kind of discouraging to see how much of my strength and endurance I've lost, but ... who cares? No one else in that class cared what I was lifting. They were doing their own thing. And starting over is better than not starting at all, right?
I was sore for a few days after the class. But it was that good kind of sore. I realized I had missed that feeling, and I'm looking forward to keeping BodyPump in my schedule.
Honestly, I think it could become a nice Sunday routine. Not this Sunday, because I'll be out of town, but ... other Sundays. Yep. I could do it.

Last week's workouts
Friday: 10-minute treadmill warm-up + arms/shoulders
