Stuff & Things 11/19

:: I don't have cable, and most of the time I really don't mind. Except for sports, The Food Network, HGTV, and ... Christmas movies.  I miss turning on Hallmark, Lifetime, or ABC Family for their holiday movies, so I bought a collection of them for myself on Amazon last week.
Who wants to come over for a movie marathon?

:: On that note, I've been watching a few of the Christmas movies on Netflix this week. And feeling a pang of jealousy and loneliness.  And I had this thought about it:

:: I might be single, but at least I still have eye candy. One Iowa Wild player has been making hockey more enjoyable for me lately. Seriously, I'm in a little bit of lust.
Dear Santa ...

:: While I might be in the mood for seasonal movies, I am not ready for the snow that's supposedly headed my way this weekend. I know, I know -- it's pretty, and I should expect it given my geographic location. And I honestly don't mind the snow. I just hate the people who can't drive in it.  Or forget how to drive in it.

What's on your mind this week?

  1. If we didn't need it for the internet, I think I'd be okay without cable too. I think I'm going to try and watch a Christmas movie or episode of a TV series every day from Thanksgiving through Christmas Day!

    Lauren :)

  2. I don't swing that way, but that guy is pretty attractive.

  3. That snow picture really cracks me up. They had to close the interstate on Tuesday because it was impassable and people kept sliding off. This is COLORADO, not CALIFORNIA.

  4. I'm kind of obsessed with Hallmark Christmas movies this year! I'm looking forward to the ABC Family ones starting.

That last picture cracks me up! So true. I agree, snow is pretty, but I only really like it two times: the first snow of the season and Christmas Day. Other than that, I could do without.

  5. I need to get that movie pack for my friend for Christmas! She loves all those movies and just cut the cord. I wish I could lust after our hockey players. We only have major junior hockey teams here, so they're like 17-22 or something young and crazy,
