Day 30 → A letter to yourself, tell yourself EVERYTHING you love about yourself
Dear me,
I love your soft heart. Sometimes, it leads to heartbreak, but it also makes you more sympathetic and empathetic. This makes you a better friend, a better writer and a better person. Occasionally, you've tried to put up a wall, but it never stays put. So just stop.
I love that you still believe in love even though you have yet to experience it. You've tried not to and even said you don't, but that's a lie. Think about it. All of your favorite songs, books and movies are about love, and you get bored with a tv show if there's not some romance aspect to it. Face it, you still believe in and want love, whether you want to admit it or not. And that's not a bad thing. Don't let anyone make you believe it is.
I love your willingness to help others. This probably goes along with your soft heart. You genuinely care about other people and always want to let them know that. Sometimes you get annoyed with yourself because you're not very good at saying "no," and end up a little overloaded, but really, you wouldn't change it, would you? Didn't think so.
I love your courage. You've taken some big steps in life -- moving to Texas, moving back to Iowa, starting a business -- and you've survived them. Sure, there was some calculation involved (I said you were brave, not spontaneous), but you did it. You navigated the ups and downs that inevitablly come with big risks and life in general, and although you often worry, you always come out on the other side better than you were before.
I love your eyes, your hair, your skin, your ability to cry and feel, your sense of humor (although a bit quirky), your sense of what is right, your sense of what is important and your passion for what is important to you. There is always room for improvement, but you are still a wonderful person. Don't ever doubt that.
