What I'm Loving Wednesday

I'm loving ...

... that Tony Lucca made it through to the next round on "The Voice."
He got some harsh (and undeserved) criticism from Christina on Monday night,
but then he went out and rocked the voting and the itunes charts.
That's my boy.
LuccaThis!

... my new Rangers calendar.
It was the giveaway on Saturday night.
I didn't get into the ballpark in time to get one at the gate,
but I found one in the bathroom.
Finders keepers!

... sleeping in my own bed.
I had a room and bed all to myself at my friend's house in Dallas,
but there's nothing like your own bed.

... that my kitties have been all cuddly the past few nights.
Monday night, Casey was all up on me. (And those who know her will know this is not like her.)
Last night, Cleo was on duty.
It was much-needed after a few rough days.
It's like animals know when you need extra love.

... that Mike Napoli is OK after taking a pitch to the head last night.
 So scary.
I literally gasped and screamed, "NO!"
Naps stayed in the game though. He's tough.

... the 4-1 start my Rangers are off to.
I was actually at the only loss, but I'm not ready to say I'm a jinx.
I love my boys. It's impossible for me to bring them bad luck.

... that I was able to get a little writing done last night.
I've been so tired and in such a bad mood since my return from Dallas,
I wasn't sure I could get back into it.
But I love Luke, Cori, Sam and Whitney, so it wasn't as hard as I thought it'd be.

... my plans for this weekend.
Dinner with a friend on Friday and then Royce White's birthday party/fundraiser.
Wine and playing with Mary Kay stuff on Saturday.
It's going to be great.

... "The Sun Will Rise" by Kelly Clarkson.

Absolutely perfect right now.

What are you loving today?

  2. Oh my goodness - Christina was SO MEAN. My family and I couldn't get over that one. Totally uncalled for. And from a different post I read, touring with a band for a few weeks sounds amazing. I think it'd be a neat experience, but like you, I could only do it for so long.
