I look forward to discovering new blogs this way and maybe ... just maybe ... acquiring a few new readers for my blog.

Now, let's get to the first round of questions ...

How did you come up with your blog name?

When I started this blog, I knew I wanted it to be an authentic representation of me.  I knew it would be more of a reflection and sharing blog rather than one devoted to fashion, food, finance, fitness ... or any other topic (that may or may not start with "f" ... ha ha).  I began playing around with titles and decided I loved "Unabashedly Me." 

What is your favorite thing about blogging?

I have always been a writer.  Always.  You can ask my mom.  I write for a living and I write for fun.  At any given time, I am either writing or thinking about what I'm going to be writing next.  That's the way my brain works.  I also love love love sharing my favorite music, which is what I do each Monday.  I've also found that blogging about my weight-loss journey has helped me find support and motivation.  I've met a lot of new "friends" via blogging.

What is one thing you have discovered because of blogging and now cant live without?

Hmm.  Probably my google reader.  Before, I was bookmarking every blog I read and going to their individual sites. Now, my reader has all the posts ready for me everyday so I don't miss anything.

Facebook or Twitter? and why?

I enjoy both for separate purposes.  Facebook is a great way to stay in touch with friends.  Twitter is the perfect venue for sharing my random thoughts.  I could not choose one or the other.

If one celeb read your blog who would you want it to be?

Very good question.  Maybe one of these guys ...

... and then they'd totally decide they have to have me, right?  Don't fight boys, we'll figure out a schedule. I'm willing to do that for you.

What is something you want people to know about your blog?

I may not share everything about me or my life, but I will always be genuine.  What you see in my blog is really me.  You may not always like me or even understand me, but I'm leaning to be OK with that. I refuse to be fake.  I refuse to be false.  I just want to be me.
