It's OK Thursday

It's the first anniversary of the "It's OK" linkup, hosted by Amber and Neely.  

It's one of my favorite link-ups to do each week, so I extend my gratitude to them for hosting it.

... to not know what to say about that tragic shooting in Aurora, Colo.

I'll just never understand senseless violence.

Prayers for all the victims and their families.

... that I went for a 4.5-mile walk on Tuesday instead of running.

It was just too hot to run.

At least I did something active.

... to be nervous about taking my cat to the groomer today.

Casey is my skittish baby, and she has some mats in her fur.

This experience won't be fun for either of us.

... that summer's half over and I haven't done half the things on my Summer Bucket List.

I might not get through the whole list. Oh well.

... to love and hate the trade deadline in baseball.

I would love for Jon Daniels to make a big move for the Rangers.

But I hate all the rumors.

... that I'm going to miss Jennifer Weiner's tweets now that "Bachelorette" is over.

She'll be back when "The Bachelor" starts.

I wish she'd live tweet "Bachelor Pad."

... to crank up the music while cleaning the house.

I definitely sing along and bust out a few moves.

Fortunately, the only audience is my two cats. They can't tell me to stop.

... that I'm going to see "The Dark Knight Rises" by myself.

I don't have a movie buddy in my town.

And I'm not waiting to RedBox this one.
