... bacon and avocado sandwiches.

Two strips of ready-to-eat bacon, half an avocado (sliced and salted), sandwich thin.

So easy.  And so delicious.

I've had four in the last week.

... the book I received in the Book Club Swap.

I'm really behind on my reading for the year, but hopefully this will get me back on track.

I can't wait to delve into it.

... how much I've grown emotionally in the past year.

My weekend started off a little rough.

But I responded to the situation so much different than I would have even a year ago.

I know who I am and what I'm worth, and I won't waste time on people who can't see it.

... that college football officially begins this weekend.

I will be dividing my Saturday afternoon to give some love to both college teams I follow.

I'll find a way to watch my alma mater (Buena Vista) and my lifelong favorite (Iowa State).

... the new Garmin Forerunner 10 watch.

I would totally get it in green.

 

I'm kind of disappointed with the running app options on my phone.

So many of the Garmins are expensive, but this one isn't bad.

I think I'll be investing in one sometime this winter.

... that my Color Run is just over a month away.
I've been encouraged to have a fun outfit.
So I've been searching for some socks.
But don't know if I'll want shorts or pants.
A white shirt is a must.

Ha ha ha.  This would be awesome.
I'd even love it if all my bloggy friends showed up.
We wouldn't all fit in my house, but ... hey, we'd figure it out.
