5 for Five


Check out how I did with my goals this week. Green = Success. Red = Failure. 

1.  Update my baseball blog.
Apparently I really don't want to do this.

2Read at least one book.
I read half of a book. I guess that's something.
I'll try to finish it this week.

3. Catch up on my online dating communication.
It felt kind of good to close that loop.
I had more than a dozen messages.

4.  Clean out the "junk drawer."
There was so much junk in there.

5.  Three workouts.
I did the Shred last Monday, yoga on Tuesday and walked 5 miles on Thanksgiving.


Here are my new goals for the week ahead ...

1.  Update my baseball blog.
Seriously. I just need to do this.

2.  Finish the current book and read another. 
More reading!!!

3. Write and mail "thank you" notes.

4.  Write 15K words.
I'm not going to get to 50K words for NaNoWriMo,
but I need to finish strong anyway.

5.  Four workouts.
I got three in last week.
Time to up the ante.

  1. One day I will write one of these goal posts. This would be a great thing to keep me somewhat accountable. My first goal is to write 5 goals.

  2. Girl I haven't worked out in almost three weeks! And I've been putting off my research paper, which happens to be due next week....good luck on getting in your 15k words! :)

  3. 2/5 isn't bad! We all have weeks like this. I've been AWFUL about working out lately so I'm super proud of your for that accomplishment! I need to set aside/make reading time for some new books by this fabulous author (cough, cough YOU!) that I haven't even had a chance to open. I'm so making it happen during the Christmas holiday though :)
