Gah. I was so caught up in all my holiday travel that I forgot to post and link-up on Monday. But I joined this link-up to be accountable when I set small goals. So, it's better late than never, right? Let's get to it.
Check out how I did with my goals this week.
Green = Success. Red = Failure.
1. Drink 60 oz. of water each day.
I was really good until I went out of town.
I can behave at home but not on the road.
2. Finish Christmas shopping
I finished last Friday.
Just in time, right?
3. Find a good recipe for mulled wine.
Well, I found a recipe and we tried it.
I might tweak it a little next time.
It was more bitter than I would have liked.
4. Run for thirty minutes at least twice.
I didn't get on the treadmill once.
Blah.
Blah.
5. Clean the house thoroughly.
I cleaned the kitchen and bathroom.
But didn't touch the other rooms.

Here are my new goals for the week ahead ...
1. Drink 60 oz. of water each day.
Keeping this one until I can green it for two weeks in a row.
This needs to become a more solid habit.

2. Use my new kettlebell set at least twice & Zumba twice.
I've been so lazy about workouts later.
No need to wait until the New Year to get back at it.
3. Finalize New Year's Eve plans.
I have tentative plans for a two-day football fest with my girls.
Need to get everything sorted out.
4. Mail my giveaway package to Katie.
I have an extreme dislike of the post office.
But I want Katie to enjoy the goodies.

5. Read one book.
I'm going to fall short of my reading goal of the year.
But I need to get as close as I can.

What are your goals for the week?
I have 2 gym sessions planned for today. Nothing riles me up more than the people who say, "January 1st, I'm getting back on track!"
ReplyDeleteI don't understand what people wait for! Good for you :)
Totally better late than never! So glad that you've linked up with us again :) I'd loved to hear your recipe for Mulled Wine if you ever do a post on that! It's alright to have a little bit of an off week- there's always another one!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your goals this week! I think you'll do great! Drinking that much water is a fantastic goal- good luck! I'd also love to hear about what you're doing for kettle bell workouts! I've used them a little bit in a 'bootcamp' type workout and really enjoyed them.
Best of luck on your goals this week & thank you for linking up as always, Micah!
