It's OK Thursday

Its Ok Thursdays

It's OK ...

... that I will be glued to Twitter all day for baseball news.
The Hot Stove has been kind of dull so far this off-season.
But it seems like the Rangers might do someting interesting today.
So much for me having a productive Thursday.

\\\\////

... to be sad I won't get to watch the Iowa State/Iowa basketball game tomorrow night.
Usually all of the intrastate games are on statewide.
Apparently not this one.
I guess I'll settle for listening to it.

\\\\////

... to be happy about what my family decided on for Christmas gifts.
We'll each spend a certain amount on each other.
This way, we'll each have three gifts to open and it saves money.
And it allows me to shop, which I love.

\\\\////

... to kind of want this t-shirt from Ugly Holiday Sweater Tees by Switch.
I bought a tshirt from them last year, and I love it.
Extra donations go to help animals in need.
Fun shirt + helping puppies/kitties = win.

\\\\////

...  that I haven't written anything since last Saturday.
My readers won't like that, but I've been busy.
Don't worry.  I'll get to it the next few days.
Another chapter will go out Sunday or Monday.

\\\\////

... to share 1.5 bottles of wine with a friend on a Wednesday night.
Danielle came over for dinner last night, and we had turkey chili, salad and bruschetta.
We also had some good conversation, which called for a little red wine.
Or maybe a lot.  Don't judge.

\\\\////

... to think the Elf on the Shelf stuff is creepy.
A lot of my mommy friends are doing it, and more power to you, I guess.
When I was growing up, Santa monitored our good behavior.
Did he get tired? Why do we need a creepy looking elf?

\\\\///

... to take selfies in my new Santa hat.
The hat is a little small, but it was cheap, so whatever.
It's still fun and sparkly.
And I look cuter than that creepy elf.

\\\\////

... to wish these blemishes on my chin would go away.
I've been all broken out for the past few weeks.
I've been good about my skincare, so it has to be stress.
Ugh.  I absolutely hate it.

\\\\////

... to be a Scentsy hoarder.
I have about 15 scents in my closet, yet I keep buying more.
I just can't resist the new scents and the seasonal scents.
If A&E ever features me on their show, it'll be the most pleasant smelling hoard they've seen.

\\\\////

... to love the cheesiest of cheesy Christmas movies.
Last week, I caught "Love at the Christmas Table," and it might be my new favorite.
Luke from "Gilmore Girls" and Winnie from "The Wonder Years."
And such a sickeningly cute story. Sigh.

\\\\////

... to be humbled when friends surprise me with gifts.
A Rangers All-Star Mickey Mouse from Jen & Mayra.
A fun wine glass, wine, socks and snowmen candles from Danielle.
Reminds me of how blessed I am.

\\\\////

What's OK with you this week?

  1. There is nothing wrong with being a Scentsy horder!!! I may have you beat. Since I just order scents for my house and never have stock! :)

Also Elf on the shelf. Totally creapy.
