5 for Five


Let's see how I did with last week's goals, shall we?


Finish and send Chapter 9 to my readers. 
Still a fail on this one.
I'm really lucky my readers aren't hating me yet.

Shred junk mail. 
It took me a few hours yesterday.
I really need to do it monthly to avoid this kind of pile-up.

Do one random act of kindness. 
I left a few dollars worth of quarters on the red vending machines outside the store.
I was going to take a photo, but there were lots of people around, and I felt weird.

Start shopping for my Cupid Swap partner.
I've picked out a few things even if I haven't purchased them yet.
I'll call that good.

Do an hour-long Zumba class on my Wii game.
It wasn't all that much harder than a 45-minute class.
I'll try to do this once a week.

Four out of five is a definite improvement from last week.


And, now, for the week ahead ...

Write at least 1K words a day. 
Reworded my first goal because I obviously need smaller goals.
And my writing time is going to be cut down soon.
Do at least 45 minutes of cardio every day.
I really need to kick up my activity.
I totally slacked last week.

Do one random act of kindness. 
I want to do 24 for the year.
So I need to do another one this month.

Try spaghetti squash.
Kristin sent me a good recipe.
I can't wait to try it out.

Go to bed by eleven.
I have gotten in such a bad habit of staying up late and then sleeping late.
I'll be starting my new job in two weeks, so that needs to stop.

  1. Well, if you missed it on my blog, facebook, and twitter I LOVE Spaghetti squash! It is my favorite thing to fake out pasta! Normally I just make spaghetti but I am trying to find new ways to make it.
    I am getting ready to start Chapter 8...finally after reading all day yesterday (with lots of distractions.) I will read slowly? HAHA!
    I decided to go to the gym this week instead of trying to work out at home. Right now, home is not working for me. That reminds me...need to check out a Spin Class Schedule.

  4. We need to get a shredder. Or take our stuff to my in-laws to put in their burn barrel.

    Changing sleep habits is such a pain. I get in the habit of staying up during the breaks and then the first day of work is such a pain. Good luck!

  5. If you like ground turkey, that recipe is definitely yummy!

    We have garbage bag full of mail to be shredded. Still. Maybe once summer vacation comes around lol.
