5 For Five

Thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Boston and the runners in the Boston Marathon.  Even though more details of today's events are sure to come out in the future, I doubt it'll ever make sense.  Things like this never do.

Check out how I did last week:

Do my push-ups every night.
I could tell I was getting better each night.
Get 70K steps for the week.
I actually went over my goal.
Not bad, considering I was in a car for most of Saturday.

Finish "Reached."
I didn't even crack it this week.

Put up my gallery wall.
I swear I'll get this done at some point.  

Try a new recipe.
I finally made overnight oats -- they're my new go-to breakfast.
I also made Rumchata cupcakes yesterday.

Three out of five isn't too bad, I guess. 


 Here are my new goals for the week ahead:

Read for an hour each day.
I really need to get back to reading.
Life's been so busy, but I really need to set aside time.
Put up the gallery wall and unpack my CDs.
Two things I've been putting off.
But my place will feel more together when they're done. 

Get to the post office.
I have a few things I've been meaning to mail for a few weeks.
I really need to send them now.

Comment on at least five blogs a day.
I have gotten really bad about this.
Sorry, blog friends.

Try a new recipe.
I need to keep up with my cooking.
It's saving me so much money and so many calories.

  2. Speaking of post office, could you send me your address? I have something I've been meaning to mail you (I'm sorry, I suck!) :(

    I'm the same way with reading, and with blog commenting. For some reason Bloglovin' on my phone has issues commenting on blog posts. Err!!!
