I take on several different personalities when I'm running on the trails.
I thought I'd share a few of these alter egos with you.
\\\\////
When the weather is perfect and the trail is busy ... I become Bob Ross.
"Beauty is everywhere."

When I hear a rustling in the brush nearby ... I become Chunk on "The Goonies."
"I love the dark. I love the dark. I hate nature. I hate nature."
\\\\////
When I see a "suspicious" person ... I become a victim on "Law & Order: SVU."
"She was last seen in the park, wearing grey pants and a pink shirt."
\\\\////
When I cross paths with an attractive guy ... I become Lolo Jones.
I just wish I looked like her when I'm running.
\\\\////
When I see a hill coming up ... I become The Little Engine That Could.
"I think I can, I think I can, I think I can ..."
Do you take on an alter ego when you work out?
Tell me about it ... so I don't feel so weird. Ha ha!

Love this. I am always thinking someone is going to come get me or jump out of a bush or a car or something. Too may CSI's and Law and Order for me haha
ReplyDeleteha ha ha! This made me giggle! I'm pretty sure I become a math professor because I start figuring my "averages" and other such nonsense in my head.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, this made me laugh. Especially the little engine that could one, I may need to start thinking that when I see a hill lol!
ReplyDeleteYes. I become someone who can kick anyone's butt when I'm doing roundhouse kicks. They're my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty consistantly the same person when I jog. And that person is huffing, puffing, sweating and looking for the nearest taxi rank.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA, this is hilarious!!!
ReplyDeleteOmg I love this post!!! I sooo wanna be a runner eventually!!!
ReplyDeleteThis was great! I'm usually too busy trying to remember why I like to run but now I'm going to think of these every time!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Love this post! I don't run, but I can definitely see myself becoming all of these personalities too!
