When we're kids, a friend is the person who sits with us at lunch and shares their cookies.
When we're teenagers, a friend is the person who keeps our secrets and indulges the overanalyzing of everything our crush did or said that day.
As we become adults, friends are the ones who help us move, listen to us vent about work/relationships/family/money, and just flat-out accept us for who we are.
The definition of a friend changes over time. I don't really think the expectations change all that much though. Through it all, we just want someone with whom we enjoy spending time, helps us be the best version of ourselves, and hangs in there when we aren't that best version.

After reading YOUR words & the quotes, it's got me thinking a lot...about true friendships, expectations and what is/isn't worth worrying about. Thanks for getting me thinking this morning ;)
