"Rollin'" into the weekend

This is not the first time this video has appeared on my blog.  It probably won't be the last. And I refuse to apologize for that. You can't make me.

In case you're new here, Tim Stop is one of my favorite music boys.

Here's a photo of us together after the show where the above video was taken:
(Yeah, that was at least 20 pounds ago for me, but it's still a great photo.)

Did I mention I'm going to see him tonight?  It'll be my 18th Tim Stop show. No big deal.

I discovered him in 2009 when he was a trio and only had one album available. Things have changed a little since then.

Last month, he opened for Chicago (and reportedly, he'll be doing that a few more times), and his third album is due out later this summer. Pretty exciting stuff!

It couldn't happen to a better guy. He's so nice and incredibly genuine, not to mention talented. I never get tired of seeing him play. I've thoroughly enjoyed watching his music and performances evolve.

P.S. If I ever get married, I will probably campaign pretty hard for his version of "The Way You Make Me Feel" to be incorporated into the wedding somehow.

He does a lot of shows in the Midwest, but occasionally he ventures beyond the heartland. I'm sure he'll be doing some of that once the new album is released.  Check out his tour page to see if he's coming your way.  And if you go see him, don't leave without saying a quick "hello" to him.  You can tell him I sent you too, if you want. Ha!
