Years ago, when I was working at a daily newspaper in Texas, I covered a local singing competition. This guy was one of the contestants and he completely won me over.
I decided to look him up on youtube a few years ago, and I was ecstatic to find he had put out an album with a band called Whiskeyfish. Yep, I bought it immediately.
His voice just floors me ... and makes me melt. All at once.
