Interestingly enough, in a team meeting the other day, we had to share five things about us, so I'll list those same five facts here and then add a few more.
::: I have been to 186 concerts. The first one was Michael Peterson (country artist) when I was 17.
::: I met my best friend when we were in third grade. Some people meet us and wonder how we're friends because we're very different, but I think we balance each other.
::: One of my life goals is to visit every MLB park. I've been to 10 so far. That's about a third of them. Need to get to work.
::: I've never traveled outside the U.S. I want to ... it's just never been a possibility.
::: I have one brother and two half-sisters. My brother is younger and my half-sisters are older.
::: In restaurants/public places, I hate sitting with my back to the door. I really don't know why. It's just a thing.
::: I use two alarms in the morning -- a clock and my phone. And sometimes I still don't hear either one for a long time. I'm a sound sleeper.
::: Writing has always been one of my favorite things. My mom says I used to tell her stories before I could actually write them out. It's a great form of release for me.
::: I taught myself to read when I was 3 years old. Much to the dismay of my kindergarten teacher. She was not happy that I was ahead of the other kids, so she wouldn't call on me in class to answer reading/letter questions.
::: I like cake better than frosting.
::: I have never liked/been able to nap (unless I'm sick or seriously sleep-deprived). They sound like a good idea, but sleeping during the day has just never happened for me. I suppose I'm afraid I'll miss out on something.
What do you think?
I taught myself how to read too! To this day, no one knows how I actually did it. AND I don't like naps either!
ReplyDeleteI never nap if I can help it. It just makes me feel worse if I'm already groggy.
ReplyDelete186 concerts? I think I've been to like 3. Maybe 4. And aw, what a mean kindergarten teacher!
