I was matched with Allie, who doesn't have a blog, but I enjoyed emailing back and forth with her about the books we enjoyed. Getting to know her and choosing a book for her was the easy part. Getting it there proved to be more difficult. I sent her first book (yes, first) on time, but when the envelope arrived in her mailbox, it was empty. Sad face. She insisted I didn't need to send her another, but I wasn't about to let her end up empty-handed. I scrounged my bookshelves and sent her a pair of paperbacks I was willing to part with. I hope she enjoys them.
I look forward to reading what she sent me ...
... I love Jennifer Weiner and this book has been on my "to-read" list for a long time.

And now, let's check out Music Monday.
I am absolutely obsessed with this song. Not that I'm surprised. I adore Kelly. I need to get my hands on her album soon.
Aww, I'm sad that her envelope was empty! Who does that?! You're so nice to send her more books. :) I love Kelly's entire Christmas album. She's so cute!

Thieves at the post office... I swear, people are horrible sometimes. Let me know if you like that one! JW has been hit or miss recently, but that book is still on my to-read list. And oh how I love Kelly Clarkson-- that song is awesome.
