I must confess ...

I haven't linked up with Kat in a few weeks.  I decided it was time to get a few more things off my chest via Humpday Confessions.

Vodka and Soda

:: I love watching "The Bachelor/Bachelorette" but some of the dates they go on are ridiculous.
I mean, come on, no one makes their date become a stripper on the first date (even for charity) or takes them somewhere to make them look like elderly people.  Or do they?  Maybe I'm not dating right.

:: I don't log every book I read on GoodReads because I don't want to be judged.
I'm not going to disclose what kinds of books I read without checking them in ... just know you would definitely judge me.  I don't know what that judgment would be.  I think there would be some surprise.

:: There are two guys right now whom I wouldn't mind dating --- and I pretty much like them equally.
In an alternate universe, if they both asked me out, I would not be able to choose between them.  Seriously.  Maybe I could make my life like "The Bachelorette" and make them compete for me?  Nah.  Not my style.  Good thing I will likely never encounter this scenario.  It's more likely that neither of them would ask me out.

:: I really need to get back to morning workouts, but bedtime reading is winning out.
By bedtime reading, I mean staying up way too late absorbed in whatever story I'm reading.

:: I have a gel manicure and one of the nails is cracked.
It happened Monday, and I've managed to keep it from breaking all the way.  But I don't know how long I'll be able to keep that up.  I also don't want to have to pay the salon to take off the gel now.  Bleh.

  4. I love nighttime reading. I really should make more time to do it. I did however get a library card last week to the joint right around from our new house... so I'll probably have more late night reading sessions in my near future!

  6. I'm with Christina. I log all of my books and I'm SURE I'm judged for it! But, oh well. I log them for myself. I figure I can take a little embarrassment if it means that I make my reading goal for the year...

I kind of love watching The Bachelorette, too. I really hate it, but I kind of love it too. And those dates have been RIDICULOUS!

  7. Throw some normal clear polish on top of the crack- i've done it before and it worked! Also, log your books! I would never judge :)

  8. I get my ideas for books to read on Goodreads and then I log only the popular ones because really, no one needs to know that I secretly love reading Harlequin novels because I'm turning into my mother (FML) and that sometimes I amp it up with some pretty dirty/raunchy stuff. I had to make bookshelves on my Nook so that way I could categorize the different types of books and at this point, if someone picked up my Nook and looked at what I was reading, I might be slightly embarrassed.
