Music Monday: Lennon & Maisy - "A Life That's Good"

Have I told you how much I love the show "Nashville"?  Well, I do.  And part of the reason is these sisters. Their harmonies are incredible, and I just love every song they've performed on the show.  This song, in particular, tugged at my emotions this last season.  It may even bring a tear sometimes.

Lyrics:

Sittin' here tonight,
By the fire light,
It reminds me I already have more than I should.
 I don't need fame,
No one to know my name,
At the end of the day, Lord I pray, I have a life that's good.

Two arms around me,
Heaven to ground me,
And a family that always calls me home,
Four wheels to get there,
Enough love to share,
And a sweet sweet sweet song
At the end of the day, Lord I pray, I have a life that's good.

Sometimes I'm hard on me,
When dreams don't come easy,
I wanna look back and say, I did all that I could,
Yeah, at the end of the day, Lord I pray, I have a life that's good.

Two arms around me,
Heaven to ground me,
And a family that always calls me home,
Four wheels to get there,
Enough love to share
And a sweet sweet sweet song
At the end of the day, Lord I pray, I have a life that's good
Yeah, at the end of the day, Lord I pray, I have a life that's good

Really.  What more do we need than this?

  2. I love Nashville and really enjoy most of the music they have - and I'm with Heather, I have no idea why this hasn't taken over on the radio yet!
