I have never been a fan of April Fool's Day. Probably because I'm gullible and can be duped really easily. So ... there are no fools or jokes in this post!!
I'm loving ...
... patio weather!!! Last night, two of my favorite girls and I decided it was the perfect night to drink beers outside. So we found a patio and indulged. On a Tuesday. No regrets.
... spring/summer concert plans. I have so much fun music on deck for the next few months. Three Tim Stop shows, Tony Lucca, Ed Sheeran, Meghan Trainor, and possibly The Fray and Andy Grammer!!! Cannot wait.
... that baseball is so close. Opening Day is five days away. The Rangers' first game doesn't start until 9 p.m. on Monday, which is a little late for this old lady with two jobs and early morning workouts. But ... I'll catch as much as I can.
... La Hop from Jasper Winery. It's a dry hopped white wine. I've had a bottle of this in my fridge for months and finally broke it out over the weekend. So good!!!
.... that 515 Brewing celebrated a very successful second birthday over the weekend. I may or may not have been there for nine hours. They've been my favorite Des Moines brewery since they opened, and now I work there, so my love has just grown. (Yes, those are the brewers in the photo below. It cracks me up every time.)
What are you loving this week?
I am still waiting for patio weather!
ReplyDeleteTony Lucca and Ed Sheeran!? Jealous! I went to The Fray's concert forever ago and they put on such a fun show.

ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for patio weather. Drinking a nice cold beer just seems better sitting outside. I'm glad you're a huge concert goer too! There's so many great ones in summer. I'm definitely hitting up Ed Sheeran!
