When the travel bug bites ...

Maybe it's my recent trip. Maybe it's all the photos my traveling friends post. Maybe it's the impending doom of winter, which will pretty much keep me frozen in place. Whatever the cause, I definitely have the travel bug. There are so many places I haven't been or seen.  Fortunately, I have a few friends who enjoy travel. I've already begun dreaming about future trips. The first one, I think, will be limited to somewhere in the U.S. or Canada.

We're currently researching our options for these cities:

New York City

Seattle

 Vancouver

 Savannah

Oh, and here's a good song to go with this post. I saw these guys in an acoustic show recently. It was incredible!!!

Do you have thoughts on any of these cities?
What places are on your wishlist?

  2. Seattle is on my travel list too. It just seems like such a chill city with lots of music and good food and beer- all of my favorite things. I hope you make it to NYC!! When are you planning to travel?

  4. I've been to Savannah and Seattle and they are both awesome! Savannah is probably my favorite city in the world so far - it's everything I love about the South times a hundred - there is delicious food, amazing history and culture older than the United States being a country, beautiful green spaces throughout the city, and Tybee Island beaches a short drive away. It's also within driving distance of Charleston for added Southern Lowcountry coastal goodness. When I visited my Bestie in Seattle, we visited Pike Place, the beach, the Space Needle, and the Experience Music Project (which you would love!), as well as a cute little faux German village called Leavenworth, the Cascade Mountains, and a Native American community kind of like Forks from Twilight.

  5. I love NYC and Seattle and Savannah is HIGH on my list of places to go. I've always wanted to take a solo trip there, actually.
