I enjoy setting some goals for each season -- things I want to do or accomplish -- and then evaluating at the end of the season. These were my goals for winter:
- Finish reading the Harry Potter series. -- WIN!
I did it! I did it!
- Do something crafty or artistic. -- FAIL.
When it's cold outside, it's the perfect time to stay inside. I haven't decided if I'll do one of those painting sessions or find a Pinterest project, but I'll figure something out.
- Clean out my living room closet. -- FAIL.
It hasn't been touched since I moved in almost three years ago. I'm starting to think I'm afraid to go in there.

And, now, it's time to look ahead to the new season and the things on my to-do list for spring. Here are my goals:
- Lots of live baseball.
I have a minor league team in my town, and tickets are cheap. I don't have a good excuse for not going.
- Wear a skirt or dress once a week.
This might be the toughest one. And it may require some shopping.
- Check out a new running trail.
I have a few favorites, but I think it might be good to get out of my comfort zone and explore a new part of the city.
What's on your to-do list for the spring?
Yay! Baseball!!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see fun goals like going to baseball games on your list. So often, our goals are just tasks!
ReplyDeleteAnd I have to force myself to wear pants. I wear skirts 4-5 days a week to work.
I love that skirt/dress goal. I used to wear skirts all the time and have kind of fallen away from doing that. I need to start wearing them again.
