What I'm Loving Wednesday 7/6

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I'm loving ...

... that it's already Wednesday. Short work weeks are always appreciated.

... the little blogging break I took. I needed some time away, so I took it. I do what I want.

... that I sent my next book baby off to editors last night. I love feeling like I'm making progress on this little side hobby of mine. Oh yeah, and I'm going to start writing the next one on Monday. The fun never stops.

... the Catastrophe Cosmetic mask from LUSH. I stopped in there last week to treat myself, and I'm so glad I picked this up.

... the new music from Needtobreathe. I'm beyond excited to see them live for the first time with some other awesome music peeps in October.

... that the first meeting between my family and my boyfriend went well. I'm not really surprised. He's very sociable and can talk to just about anyone (all my friends who have met him so far seem to like him). And my family is accepting and easy to get along with. But I'm glad the awkwardness of the first introduction is out of the way.

What are you loving this week?

  1. Blogging breaks are good! I've been pretty light on the blogging this year.
I'm looking forward to your next book (still need to review Dropped...)
Enjoy the rest of your short work week!

  2. haha...first introductions are hard! Have you met his friends? When Scott introduces me to coworkers and acquaintances, I always feel awkward because I never know what to say.

Glad the boyfriend introductions went well- I know how awkward they can be! :)

  4. I took a mini-break as well. Blog land is slow in summer anyway. First meetings with the family are so stressful- happy to hear it went well! I need to try that mask. Congrats on sending your book out! Also loving that Mindy/Elmo gif :)
