It's OK Thursday

Its Ok Thursdays

It's OK ...

... to be LESS THAN EXCITED about this year's Superbowl.
I don't care for either of the teams in it.
All the commercials will be online.
Just don't care about any of it.

... to be VERY EXCITED for the new season of "The Voice,"
which premieres after Sunday's big game.
Can't wait to see my boy, Tony Lucca, show off his vocal chops.
I've loved him for 21 years.
Time for the world to see why.

... to be LESS THAN EXCITED about the prediction of snow on Saturday.
I really wanted to go visit friends and see my friend's new baby.
It might have to wait.
Boo.

... to be VERY EXCITED that one of my big music obsessions shared
my Music Monday post on their twitter and facebook.
I could not believe my eyes when I saw it.
It totally made my day (and gave this little blog a ton of views).

... to be LESS THAN EXCITED excited about cleaning out a closet.
I really need to do it.
I've been putting it off for well over a month now.
Might be a good Sunday project.

... to be VERY EXCITED by some of the things an intuitive told me last weekend.
There are some rough patches in my near future.
But some really good things down the road.
I'm hopeful.

... to be LESS THAN EXCITED about kettlebell class tonight.
New year's resolutions and a contest have made the gym really busy lately.
But I know I'll be fine once I get there, and I love the endorphins.

... to be VERY EXCITED to see friends and family.
If the weather behaves, I'm going to get some quality time
with some of my favorite people next weekend.

What's OK with you this week?

  1. I could care less about the super bowl too! Good for you for going to Kettle Ball class. I have seen that one and it looks hard!

    1. It's a pretty killer workout. But the 30 minutes seems to go by quickly, and I definitely feel like I'm getting stronger and more toned. :)

  2. I'm so glad someone else agrees with me about the Super Bowl. **Boring** I'm supposed to go to a party to watch it, part of me wants to stay home!

    1. If the party you're invited to is going to be all people heavily invested in the game, you might get bored. Or maybe if everyone else is cheering, you'll get into it, I don't know.

  3. Thanks for stopping by my blog! The suggestion for Valentine's Day is a great one, I think I see some pampering in my future. Love the Voice, excited it will be back!

    1. I didn't get to watch much of "The Voice" last season. But I'll be hanging with it for as long as Tony is on it this year. :) Maybe longer. We'll see.

Be sure to post what you do on Valentine's Day. I know I'm going to.

    1. I usually do too, but this year I can't get excited about those either. Maybe I'll have the game on while I do other things and really pay attention for the commercials. We'll see.

  6. I am in Kansas, we are supposed to have snow too, I am definitely not excited. I have been walking the dogs on a 4 mile trail and I like it, I don't want the snow to come and ruin it. I am working on kettle ball as well. I wish I could take it to school with me to work out my frustration :) Have you done any of that bodyrock.tv? Oy vey, she makes me tired just watching her and I've done Insanity!

  7. I'm not thrilled about the super bowl this weekend either, although watching the commercials is always fun. I hope the weather behaves for you! I'm a MN girl so I know how that goes!

    XOXO
