It's OK ...
... to be glad June starts tomorrow.
May was OK, but I'm ready for a new month.
I have some fun stuff planned for June.
Let's get it started.
\\\///
... to feel like there are some things I can't tell anyone.
Not even my closest friends.
And it's not because I don't trust them.
It's because some of it is hard to explain clearly.
\\\///
... that I can't stop listening to the Lucas Wells EP.
It's a really good showcase for his talent.
"I Want a Girl" is catchy and full of pop culture references.
And "Stronger Than Myself" just might be speaking to me lately.
\\\///
... that I'll be hosting a giveaway soon.
It'll coincide with my 500th post.
Which is coming up faster than I expected.
Stay tuned.

\\\///
... to want to read more but always find other things to do.
I swear I love reading,
But I can't seem to shut off the TV/computer.
I'm such a slacker.
\\\///
... to think about eating only vegs/fruit for a day so I can drink my WW points in wine.
I haven't done this.
Yet.
But I've considered it.
\\\///
... to have no idea what I want on my book cover.
Depictions of the characters?
Vague scenery?
Abstract art?
I'm very indecisive.
\\\///
... that I don't really care about the Rangers signing Roy Oswalt.
I'm not mad about it or excited about it.
I don't think he'll hurt us or solve all our problems.
I'm just kind of meh on the whole issue.
\\\///
... to wish I was more photogenic.
I'm on the right. My friend, Lacy (left), always looks cute.
I don't like how I look in pictures.
I think I'm way cuter than they depict.
\\\///
What's OK with you?
I think you look really cute in that picture. I get what you are saying. I gave up beating myself up about not looking perfect in all the photos. I just decide to be happy when there is one I really like.
ReplyDeleteAlso, there are some things I can't tell anyone either. I try and fail completely to explain properly. Sometimes I think my friends think I am foolish. Not stupid but naive. I am naive, who am I kidding. I like to see the best in everyone.
I think you look adorable in the picture!!!
ReplyDeleteI think you look great in this picture. :)
ReplyDeleteAlmost everyone feels that way about themselves in pictures! I feel the same way about reading too. I have a stack of books to read, but I can't turn away from the screens!
ReplyDeleteFound you from the Its OK link up. I saw that you were from IOWA and immediately got excited. I am also from Iowa and believe it or not, I have never come across another blogger from Iowa, besides those that I know personally. Crazy! Can't wait to follow along :)
