Well, there were a few surprises for me last week. Not the good kind either.
I tried not to let them disrupt my life too much, but sometimes that's easier said than done.
Check out how I fared with last week's goals -- green means I succeeded, and red means I failed.
1. Be in bed by 10 p.m. every night (except Friday).
I fell a bit short on Thursday.
2. Spend at least one hour each night reading.
I definitely did this. Finished one book and started a new one.
3. Remember to take my multivitamin every day.
YAY!!
4. Get four workouts in.
I went for a run on Monday and did yoga on Tuesday. After that ... nothing.
5. Start brainstorming for NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month).
I know what story I'll be working on. I still have more to sketch out before Nov. 1 though.
Three out of five ... not bad.

Here are my new goals for the week ahead ...
1. Get four workouts in.
We'll add this one in since I failed last week.
2. Be in bed by eleven each night.
I couldn't make ten last week, so we'll do eleven this week and ease into earlier bedtime.
3. Cook dinner at home every night.
It's cheaper and healthier.
4. Shred junk mail/old bills.
The stack in my closet has been staring at me for months. Time for a shredding party.
5. Finish watching "Drop Dead Diva" DVDs.
A friend loaned me Seasons 1 and 2, and I breezed through the first season.
Baseball kept me from jumping into season 2. It's time to get back to it.

I'm hoping these are all green next week.
I think your #3 sounds perfect. I need to do that, too. Stop spending unnecessary money when I have tons of food I can cook here at home! Good luck this week.

You just reminded me that I NEED to get a shredder! And I like the idea of easing into earlier bedtime, I've been trying to do that, too. Thanks for linking up!!
