What I'm Loving Wednesday

I'm loving ...

... the gorgeous weather that arrived this week.
After last week's snow, it's been nice to see 70s and 80s.
We're due for some rain the rest of the week, but rain is better than snow.
And at least it's going to stay warm.

... that I have my second 5K of the year this Saturday.
Maybe this one will actually be closer to 3.1 miles (instead of 4.4 miles).
This one will also have a chip timer, which I've never done.
We'll see how it goes.

... Adam Scott.
He is my newest celebrity infatuation.
I've watched "Friends With Kids" more times than I can count.
Last weekend, I watched "Bachelorette."
All of his characters are douchey guys who turn nice, but he's still charming somehow.

... the friends who have reached out to me during this tough time.
Being unemployed for the second time in about seven months is not fun.
I'm so grateful for the people who have checked on me and are searching job leads for me.
Hopefully this layoff won't be as long as the last one.

... the cropped yoga pants I picked up at Target a few weeks ago.
They're perfect for running ... and lounging too.
I'm going to have to go back for a few more pair.
When I find something I like, I stock up.

... the new Pistol Annies album.
It came out yesterday, and even though I probably should be watching money, I bought it.
Music is hard for me to resist.
Especially when it's these girls.

I discovered it while browsing with a friend over the weekend.
I cannot stop thinking about it.
When I have a job/income again, I may have to go back for it.

... that "The Great Gatsby" movie comes out this weekend.
It's definitely on my to-see list.
This weekend will be a busy one with a run, a grad party and Mother's Day.
I'm hoping I can find time to squeeze it in soon.

... this photo of the Rangers rookies from Sunday night.
Or is it the Spice Girls?
Thanks to Elvis Andrus for tweeting it out.
It's definitely enjoyable.

What are you loving?

  1. I downloaded the CD yesterday after you told me about it and just remembered I haven't listened to it yet! This is going to be a good day.
I have a theory about this job search of yours but I will tell you in private. Just know that things are working out exactly the way they are supposed to and don't give up!

  2. Stay strong and everything will fall into place!

  3. I'm so behind that I didn't know you're unemployed again! So sorry, Micah. (And oddly enough, Donny is too...) But I know that God has a plan during this time for you. Something perfect will come along!

  4. I haven't done a WILW in a while and need to do one! Fingers crossed you find a wonderful job soon my friend. Unemployment BLOWS!
