5 for Five -- still struggling

FantasticallyAverage

Check out how I did last week:

Get up by 8 a.m. each weekday.
I'm getting closer.
I was up at 8 a.m. three days last week.
I'll get there.

Spend at least five hours writing.
I spent a lot of time with the Bravermans ("The Parenthood").
I didn't do much reading or writing.
Maybe this week?

Eat at home every day.
I failed so hard at this.
I'm not even going to tell you how many times I went out.
But it has to stop.

Complete a run on National Running Day.
Yay!!
3.11 miles on Wednesday.
It was a great day.

Find 5Ks for July, August, and October.
I think I found races for July and August.
October is proving elusive, but I'll keep looking.

2 for 5 again.
Sigh.

Here are my new goals for the week ahead:

E-mail my Summer Reading Swap participants.
I'm a little disappointed in the lack of interest.
But I'm not going to let down the people who are into it.
I'll do that tomorrow.

Search for freelance writing opportunities.
Money is so tight right now, and I'm really stressed about it.
I need some sort of income.
Every little bit helps.

Get up by 8 a.m. each weekday.
I'm keeping this on here until I can green it.
Or until I no longer have an option and have to get up earlier.
I really hope that happens soon.

Spend at least five hours writing.
Again, I'm leaving this on here until I can green it.
I am feeling completely uncreative lately.
But I'll keep trying.

Eat at home every day.
I can't afford to go out, and even groceries are going to be a stretch.
Meals are going to be interesting for a while.
Microwave popcorn for breakfast anyone?

Come back next week to see how I did.

Last chance to sign up for my Summer Reading Swap?
I'm going to assign partners Tuesday (June 11).

  3. 2/5 is better than none? And good luck, especially with the eating at home. When I'm home alone and having to cook for myself, my meals are pretty tragic looking lol!

  4. For freelance work- if you are near a college, check their PR dept. My husband freelances for the local college from time to time.
