5 for Five


Check out how I did last week:

Work on my novel for five hours.
Life got busy last week.
And I start my new job Wednesday, so it's about to get busier.

Do BodyPump twice.
Tuesday, I was all dizzy and lightheaded.
Thursday, I walked out to a drained car battery.
The Universe did not want me to work out last week.

Go for a walk on a new trail.
See the reasons in the first item.
They're not good excuses, but ... I'm sticking to them.

Spend an hour a day reading.
I did this and finished "The Light Between Oceans."
Such a fantastic read.
I recommend it.

Eat a fruit and/or vegetable with every meal.
I did this with all but probably two meals.
So I'm calling it a win.

Two out of five.


I was thinking about taking a break from 5 for Five for a while, and it seems like Jess and Jenn were reading my mind.  They're putting it on hiatus for the rest of the summer.  I love this link-up, and I'll be ready when it comes back.

  1. I seriously need to start adding more fruits and veggies to my meals too. Good job on completing that goal!
