As I've said, I don't do resolutions. I set goals and aim to try some new things. I did pretty well in 2014, so let's see what I want to do in 2015.
Goals
:: Read 70 books.
I have some specific monthly reading goals as well. You can check those out in this post.
:: Pay off all credit card debt.
Yes, I'm recycling this one. Until it's done.
:: Finish a writing project.
I have one book that's been in editing stages for more than a year and two other books in draft form. It's time to finish at least one of them.
New Things
:: Visit a new ballpark.
Because of my busy scheduled, I did not watch much baseball in 2014, and that disappoints me. So, I'm going to make sure I go see some in person. It doesn't matter if it's major or minor league. If it's a new park, it counts.
:: Make wine.
There's a place in town that offers wine making sessions, and I've been wanting to join in for a long time.
:: Learn to knit.
This might be the most ambitious and intimidating of all the new things. But I'm going to at least try.
+++++
What are you going to do in 2015?
Love the goals! So what things do you hope to knit? Because that sounds really cool if you make awesome scarves/beanies/etc. Also... making your own wine? That sounds incredible! Good luck with all that. And I can't wait to see how it all turns out :)
ReplyDeleteThere's a nice little ballpark in downtown Winston-Salem, just so you know.
ReplyDeleteThose sound like fun goals!! Good luck with them!
ReplyDeleteI love the learn to knit one! I've always wanted to learn to do that too. fun!
ReplyDeleteLove these goals! Knitting is actually not as difficult as it sounds! A friend taught me in college. She can make all kinds of crazy things like socks, gloves, and sweaters. I can make scarves. That's it. But that's all I really need! lol Best of luck with your 2015 goals! :)
ReplyDeleteI SWEAR I commented on this already, but apparently I was wrong--sorry!!
ReplyDeleteIf you're still serious about it, I got ya covered on the new ballpark :) Detroit is really actually a nice park, and partnering it with a race & some beer sounds pretty great! Also I would love to make wine--my brother brews beer but I thought making my own wine would be cool.
