Weekly Reads, Vol. 17
We got a foot of snow last weekend. I can't really complain because we've had a really mild winter, but I am definitely already over winter. Thanks The Life of Bon for offering 15 Cures for the Winter Blues. I'm definitely going to do a few of these things.
I'd like to say I'll never do a marathon, but I've learned that saying "never" is a bad idea. I mean, I never thought I'd run period, let alone a half-marathon, but ... that's where I am now. Either way, I like the article Holly found regarding Thoughts on Running a Marathon. I honestly think the principles can apply to any running goal.
Ah ... the age old debate of reading the book before the movie or vice versa. Helene and her husband don't agree on the strategy. Which side do you fall on?
Sarah is really nailing it with her blog posts lately. I love this one about the five things she's learned through blogging. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Number one is a big one for me right now. I've actually been toying with blogging about a few very personal topics, but haven't yet. See reason number two for why.
Nadine at East & really spoke to me in this post entitled, "I Wish I Wanted To Change." YES!!! This is so me. I'm not the most tidy person. I wish I could change. Or wanted to change. Bur right now, it works just fine for me. I don't know why. I wasn't raised this way.
Hope you're having a lovely weekend!
