Stuff & Things 8/6

I'd apologize for doing two link-ups in a row, but it's my space, so I don't have to apologize for anything.  I do what I want.  And today, I want to link up with Kristin.

::  Last week, I posed a question on my Facebook and Twitter. The response was incredible.  So much great discussion.  I'll do a post about it soon.  If you want to chime in, feel free to add your thoughts in the comments.

:: I saw Eric Hutchinson last night.  It was my fourth time seeing him, and he is just incredible every time.  The weather was gorgeous, he opened with what has become my favorite song by him and proceeded to play his wonderful catalog for the next 90 minutes.

Oh ... and he favorited my tweet too.

I might have fangirled.

:: I'm currently on day 4 of the Advocare Herbal Cleanse.  Basically, I take some supplements, drink the fiber drink, and eat a super clean diet for 10 days.  So far, it's not too bad.  The fiber drink isn't my favorite, but I've found ways to make it more bearable.  I miss cheese and coffee though.

::  This month might be all about the music (one show down, four on deck), but I've got some major sportsing coming up as well. I recently purchased a mini-pack of Iowa State Cyclones football tickets (three games) and will be going in on a five-game package for the Iowa Wild.  I'm determined to learn about hockey this year.

:: I related so hard to this tweet the other night.

I need someone to shop for me and then put the outfits together in some computer program like Cher had in "Clueless."  Anyone?  Bueller?

What's up with you this week?

  1. That's so cool that he favorited your tweet! It's awesome when artists connect with their fan base.

Also, there's an app (similar) for that:

  2. I didn't exactly ask my husband out, but I kind of forced him to ask me out through persistency. It worked out okay ha ha.

  3. I love when celebs engage on twitter! Sometimes I talk about it on Facebook and people just don't get my excitement. Haha!

  4. I totally wanna beat someone up. Sitting in the penalty box would be SO worth it.

And yes. I really need help putting outfits together. Or, well, really, I'm okay at dressing myself. It's the budget I have problems with. So really, I just need a $5000 What Not to Wear Credit Card and I'd be good.

  5. I talk about it on Facebook and people just don't get my excitement.
