Weekly Reads, Vol. 57

This round-up is a day later than usual thanks to the holiday and my subsequent obligations. And also because I couldn't be bothered to open my computer yesterday. At all. Today, however, I'm enjoying a lazy Sunday morning of coffee and a cinnamon swirl bagel. I'm watching rom coms on Netflix, debating whether or not I want to go to the Iowa Wild game this afternoon, and praying Mother Nature pulls back on that winter storm slated for tomorrow.  While I do all that, here are some good blog posts for you to read.

Sarah offers a good reminder and strategy for disconnecting from social media and reconnecting with real people. Earlier in the week, she also reflected on starting her magazine and what she's gained from the process.

Helene at Blog In Between has some tips to make sure you never run out of blog post ideas.

Tiffany has been learning a lot about motherhood in the past year. In this post, she gives you a list of the kind of people you need on speed dial to help you through journey.

Angie at My So-Called Chaos knows it can be tough to be single during the holidays. All of the activities seem to be focused on couples. She has a few ideas to keep your spirits up.
