Best of the Bunch: January 2017

I used to post a weekly round-up of my favorite blog reads. I loved doing this because I follow a lot of great bloggers with some great words, stories, and bits of information. As much as I enjoyed it, the weekly digest got to be a bit cumbersome, and sometimes there were only two or three posts I wanted to share. So I decided to drop back to a monthly post this year. I'm calling it Best of the Bunch, and I'm aiming for it to occur on the last Saturday of each month. I hope you enjoy it!

Taylor shared nine habits that were game-changers for her in 2016. I need to work on a few of those myself for a happier and more balanced life.

Lisette was shocked by a few of these changes along her fitness journey. I have experienced many of these myself each time I shift my workout/eating habits. She just stated them much more eloquently than I could.

Stephanie has realized some of her bad habits since moving in with her beau. I must say I have a fear of discovering all my negative idiosyncrasies once Sean and I start combining our households into one.

Steph definitely judges people ... but not by the things you might think. I'm with her on pretty much all of her criteria.

If you or anyone you know has dealt with infertility (and chances are high that this applies to everyone), I encourage you to check out Samm's first installment in a series about her own battle.

It was great to see so many bloggers I follow participate in and post about the women's march last Saturday. I think Taylor and Whitney summed it up the best. Steph also shared her experience with the fiery passion she's known for. Go check out their thoughts.

Juliette listed a few reasons she's gotten mad at her husband. I chuckled all the way through the list. Probably because I could relate to too many as they apply to Sean. Sorry, babe.

Taylor encapsulated what it feels like on social media these days and explains why she's "resigning as mayor of Troll Town."

Happy reading and have a great weekend!
