Stuff & Things 1/26
:: We went to look at a house the other day and were more impressed with it in person than via photos online. It had a lot of features we were looking for and was in our target area. However, in post-tour conversation with my mom, she pointed out that the bathroom was not on the same level as the master bedroom. This could be annoying on a daily basis and troubling if we got sick in the middle of the night. So ... the search continues.
:: I did my bi-annual closet purge the other day and reduced my stock significantly. I can't believe how many clothes I had. I probably still have too many. This is why I go through my wardrobe multiple times a year.
:: My FitBit officially died a few months ago - right after I gave it a short break, which I wrote about here. I guess that was its way of protesting my abandonment. A month or so ago, I began thinking about getting another fitness tracker. After some research and conversations with other fitness folks. I landed on the Garmin VivoSmart HR+. It has a ton of great features and I can't wait to play with it a little more. Does anyone have this? Do you have any tips?
:: My round-up of favorite blog posts is returning Saturday. It will be a monthly installment now, and I've decided to anchor it to the last Saturday of each month. It still doesn't have a name. Suggestions?
:: Apparently this sign was necessary in the women's restroom in my office building. Why are people disgusting?

I've missed your blog round up!
ReplyDeleteI'm bad at naming things though so...
That's weird about the bathroom not being on the same floor as the master...usually they set it up so there's one with every bedroom or group of bedrooms.
Also, do you wear all those clothes?
I am impressed with the amount of clothes you're purging! I do try to get rid of things when I know I'm not going to wear them again, but I've always been the "But what if..." type of person. Of course, with being pregnant right now, I'm pretty much holding onto everything because I don't know what will fit again (and how long it will be) after I've had the baby. I have actually moved some clothing into a "this will not work now" pile to keep from looking at it.
ReplyDeleteOh god, that sign is crazy. Why do people need that? I've seen it happen though and it's so gross.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your house search! I hope you find something that's just perfect for you.
I'm bad at coming up with clever names too. Hmm...a round up of blog posts every month? Love the idea, but I can't think of anything at the moment.
