Never enough time

Not too long ago, I wrote about how much I'm enjoying my busy life.

Here's what it's looked like lately (in case you don't follow me on Instagram):

Life isn't going to be easing up any time soon either.

I've taken on a few 14 extra hours of work each week.  The days go fast, and I can honestly use the money, so I'll take the overtime while they're letting us have it.

Football season is about to start too, so my Saturdays will begin filling up (more than they are now).

I still love being busy, but there are a few things for which I wish I had more time.

:: Reading
I started Jessica Park's "Left Drowning" a few weeks ago and didn't get very far before life got crazy.  And I have a stack of other books I want to read too.

:: Writing
My readers have not had a new chapter since May.  No bueno.

:: Working out
I still get a few workouts in each week, but I haven't gone running in more than two weeks.  And I haven't been to the gym in about that long either.

:: Commenting on blogs.
I'm doing a fair job of keeping up with reading my favorite posts, but I don't always have time to comment.  I really hate that too because I know how important feedback is.

:: Sleeping
Getting up at 5:30 a.m. is rough.  It's still a little dark.  And it seems like even though I'm going to bed pretty early (for me), it doesn't feel like enough sleep.

:: Watching the Rangers.
I have not seen a game in almost two weeks.  So much for being a good fan, huh? I really miss my boys and my Rangers twitter family.

I suppose I'll catch up with everything eventually.  Or maybe I won't.

But I will keep trying to do the best I can.

  1. Miss talking to you!!

    I know how it goes about leaving comments on blogs too. I suck. I try and leave comments on blogs of people I actually know, but still, I am terrible at it. :(

  2. Ugh-- I hate getting up when it's dark. And it's starting to get more and more that way when I get up at 6:15. :( BUT, 14 hours of overtime is all but impossible to give up! People around you will understand if you neglect them, but don't neglect your own relaxing time! (Priorities... :))
