:: Check out some Friday night lights.
For some reason, I just never got around to doing this. I don't even have a good excuse.
:: Paint, carve, or decorate a pumpkin.
I carved pumpkins with friends the last weekend before Halloween. The evidence is here.
Again, no good excuse. Just didn't get it done.
:: Take a drive or a walk where I can take in the changing leaves.
I didn't do this one either. I did get to see some pretty leaves during my trail runs though.
:: Make beer.
The friends I was going to do this with were busy. I was busy. Our free weekends just didn't line up.
:: Participate in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).
I did participate!! I didn't reach the 50K word goal, but I got some serious writing done in November. I'm pleased with it.
:: Drink hot cider.
I'm pretty sure I had two gallons of this stuff. Mission accomplished.
:: Bake an apple pie. From scratch.
I almost did this last weekend (nothing like last minute) but didn't.
:: Go to the farmer's market.
I went on the second to last weekend. It was a really fun time!!
:: Finish my 5K goal for the year.
I did it!!! I completed six 5Ks in 2013. I'm very proud of that.
OK, so I was 50-50. I guess that's not terrible.
I won't be attempting a winter to-do list this year. Instead, I'll be focusing on my 2014 goals, which I'll be sharing very soon on the blog. Stay tuned!
Not terrible at all... way to go on the 5k time, that's awesome! And I baked an apple pie from scratch with a friend once - tons of work!
ReplyDeleteNot bad at all! Good for you and your 5ks! And I'm obsessed with drinking apple cider in the winter. SO good.
